NewsSM Gerzat receives approval to ISO quality standard ISO 9001:2000June 22, 2004 — SM Gerzat has received approval to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2000 from AFAQ, a leading French Quality Assurance Association following an extensive audit in January 2004. AFAQ certification is considered to be of the upmost importance to the company as it guarantees a rigorous, predetermined Quality Policy. The audit was carried out on all the processes defined and represented in the company i.e. Management, Quality, Product Development, Human Resources, Security, Commerical, Maintenance, Data Systems and product creation. SM Gerzat has been producing high-quality aluminium alloy cylinders for compressed gases for more than six decades. Millions of SMG cylinders are in use around the world in a wide variety of services, including life-support for firefighters and emergency response personnel, medical systems, fire extinguishers, beverage dispensing, and aerospace and defence applications The ISO certificate was awarded to SM Gerzat on 17th February 2004. |
